- Visibility <br />
- Interaction<br />
- Recall <span id="more-122"></span><br />
Here is how it worked.  We drew attendees to the booth through a “We love NY” keychain bear.  As it was a NY show, it was relevant and sought after.  Once they bit on the bears, we gave them a chance to win a bigger bear by asking them a NY State trivia question.<br />
OK so how does this help TD?  These shows are filled with mundane meetings, sessions and constant networking.  Our booth gave everyone a break.  We drew people in through a non-threatening approach.  We put a smile on their face through the trivia as well as the bears.  From there attendees’ guards were down and they were more open to speak with TD on business.  An additional benefit… this quick yet memorable exercise will allow attendees to quickly recall TD for post-show follow ups.<br />
We were able to reach out to over 160 attendees at the show.  Now many of these attendees were not decision makers (as per the show makeup) but we can’t control that.  Being we had to have a booth, we made the best of it and generated a buzz… and hopefully this buzz will pass along to decision makers.<br />
Beyond creative:  This year we had the brand new booth, making major improvements on our image from last year.  We also had a speaker slot from Jay Ranade which generated a lot of interest as well as a lot of networking and relationship building from RAS team and our beloved Vinod Raj.  Vinod even got on TV to speak on Albany.  We are awaiting the link from GTC.<br />
Special thanks to Phil Bochey for manning the booth as well as Jared.  No not the guy from Subway.. TD’s Jared Cassell.  He manned the booth, networked and took on the responsibility of booth setup and tear down.  Note:  The booth is Jared’s baby…literally.  Jared was giving the booth warm milk from a bottle in between breaks   Just joking Jared, you’re efforts and dedication are absolutely appreciated.</p>

<p>For any meetings and especially for clients.<br />
1. If you are printing the material including presentation, use the least color for background as possible. Do not use colored background. Less ink, greener we get.<br />
2. If possible, try to use computer or projector for presentation for Green efforts.</p>
<p>While the title of this post was meant to be catchy, this is a serious request so please make effective immediately.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><img class="size-full wp-image-112 alignleft" title="njbiz" src="http://technodynemarketing.files.wordpress.com/2009/09/njbiz1.jpg?w=600" alt="njbiz"   />It was a festive day on September 4, 2009 as TD marketing hosted a “NJBiz Top 100 Privately Held Companies” party in the Wayne office.  As you are aware or should be, TechnoDyne was awarded this <a href="http://www.technodyne.com/news-a-events/173-technodyne-makes-njbiz-top-100-privately-held-company-list">honor</a>, ranking # 85 in this year’s “NJBiz Top 100 Privately Held Companies” list and so it was time to pay tribute to this success through cake,<span id="more-109"></span> snacks and raffles.  As people munched on chocolate ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins, Padma made a very heartfelt speech, thanking all of us for our work and efforts.  I did not see it but someone said Vinod had a tear in his eye <img src='http://s1.wp.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_wink.gif' alt=';)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>

About 10 years ago the norm was for tradeshow exhibitors to wear full suits, but in the past 6 years, if not more, companies have gone with a corporate casual look and dressed as a team with the same attire.<br />
